090321 Weekend flying

I got a call from Mark about flying Oak Mt. I think I'll go, care to share the ride? I think we need to leave the T at 9:45. Looks like the fog decided to extend to Fillmore. No go.

OJ and I are eyeballing Bates. If the surface forecast for SB is right it could be one of those epic days.

Cort thought that Oak Mt was off, so he headed to Happy Valley and flew earlier with milder straight in winds. Wade joined him around 5:00 and got a 38 minute flight in 15-20 with gusts and additional 5 (Cort wisely sat and watched). Otherwise some decent ridge soaring. A very nice place to fly!
