Art and I will be hiking up the Nut House tomorrow (Friday) and are gonna meet at Nordoff High School @ 9:30ish?

We have had 'epic' flights in the Santa Ana conditions not long ago, so who knows, maybe the (nutter butter) "spread" will be good. Bring your spandex, bug juice or just good old fashioned long sleeves and pajama pants, because:

We are hungry to fly and the flies are hungry for US!

no toxins or recalls on this nutter butter day 4 art, marty and i. i notched 4.5 at the pyramid and 5k over E nordhoff ridge. art found some strong east by bruces so we all just strolled out to the high school (@ 3k over). marty executed a beautiful SAT. "graceful" would describe the nuthouse flying day today.

Hot hike today but worth the effort. I was just kidding about the biting flies, but apparently they are lurking on the SCPA and brought friends and family to meet us on the hike and especially on launch! Fortunately we all dressed for the situation and got off as soon as it was soarable...here are some photos to peruse.

Super fun stuff today...and it's not even the weekend yet!

see you up there next time,

Hey Marty,
Thanks for the pictures. My buddy Steve & I flew Elsinore yesterday to for a couple of hours each. There were some hangs & baggies all around.
Today we're going to try to link up with the group at the alternator. Hope to see ya there.

Nice photos! I don't think anyone has documented the climb-out and resulting trip to the HS before. Usually we're too busy trying to get up/out. Must have been a really nice day!
