Is anyone thinking about flying today, and if so where ? Looks pretty windy around here.

The Brotherhood and/or Bates is about your only hope - bring your HG...there may be a window for PGs at Bates...but watch out.
The sky is calling.

dez and i found a nice window at bates this morning. noteworthy 4me for the experience of flying right alongside a squadron of pelicans about 150 over the w-faced ridge. they usually like to bank hard and act surprised when they see us but today they kept edging closer and closer. somedays the serenity of just flying in nature is intoxicating. toplanded just as the velocity kicked up. the pelicans made the jump.

Glad you got something, sounds like a good session with the pelicans. I tried Happy Canyon, but it wasn't happy , just blown out, and by the time I got to Bates, it was the same. Oh well, maybe tomorrow.
