owens this weekend

Going up to the Owens next weekend ( Fri-Sun ) to do some flying, meeting up with Jef Fields, if anyone is interested in coming up. Still working on a vehicle to get us to launches. Does anyone have connections to drivers up there ? Or even better, is anyone interested in going who has a 4 wheel drive ?

hope you get a good one up there! walts point is 2wd, and further up past mammoth is bazooka ridge which is 2wd, and copper mountain which is also 2wd and an amazing place to fly. i think bria dog ridge is 2wd too but cant remember, if you bomb out it may be 4wd. depending on conditions you could also hike/kite n fly mono craters and there is always flynns to hike n fly. lots of options to get you into that thin air! check out paraglidingearth.com for all the options. have fun!
