met a half full eagle bus at 1130. la cumbre only 4 degrees cooler then cito, 1018ish pressure, super clear mountains. ej bowl was cycling light otb then light up the front. all of us seemed to get a hundred or two above ej, but once we lost the bubble we were forced to head out. 3600ish at RR and not a day to hug the terrain. chad took his 3600ish at RR and reached for the training hill. every time i am at the hill i feel chad needs a 'not quite human' shirt on, as he floats above that place like no other. well today he almost touched human status by squeaking into the backside of the training hill from RR. it was fun watching him zig and zag through town and go for it, coming up just a few short. he definitely has a little jon jones in him. not much below 3k but the monastary was crackin back to low twos. interesting day, i hear yesterday was more chunky and more wind. at 4pm today it was 8 degrees cooler up top and more sw wind. i bet 4pm would have produced some enjoyable flights today.
