top crash sunday

i was late and missed the eagle bus so i drove up solo to ej bowl. nice cycles and light lift. mostly hung between RR and grahms bump and bumping the top at 3600 and stabbing at lower ej spine a few times. later i got one to 3900 at RR and crusied to ej spine below the road. i had topland on my mind as i had no retrieve. put in a good 30 minutes back there trying to get to road level. surfed the hg road launch bowl and got one cycle that set up a perfect landing opportunity on the hg road launch. flapped my wings, looking perfect, then i took my feet out of the pod at the last moment and one leg hung up on my cheater strap and turned me pretty good goofing up my approach and turning me into a pogo stick. i was too committed to fly away so flapped her in just below the lip on one leg for a top crash that was uglier than a five gallon bucket of buttholes. oh well, all was good and it took me about 15 minutes to get out of the bushes but i was only a two minute walk from my van
