John A., Malcom, Mark from Colorado, me and Willy with his Falcon HG rallied at parma and headed up the hill about 11:30. We jumped off in nice cycles at eliminator/skyport. Quite the special no wind, buttery smooth lifty day. Slow, fat, smooth updrafts to 4700 a few times around the fishbowl. Once all five of us were up and together at thermal factory we headed east. nice glides. Mark hit 5200 at monicito. we all putted along taking in the views. romero and castle took some time to find it. most flushed or left at castle and headed to padaro. Willy fought it all the way down to someones fat backyard at the bottom of castle. i had intentions of tagging the powerlines before joining everyone at padaro, but i flushed a few ribs short and enjoyed the carp town tour before landing with the rest of the crew. sweet day! did i mention how smoooooth it was...
i was on the phone this morning with timmayy telling him what i thought of the weather(over analyzing) and if he should call in sick today or tomorrow. allison over heard us, and hollared over laughing at our nerdy weather talk, 'you dont really know'....well, she was right as usual, you just have to go up the hill, huck off and see what you get. here's to it!
