WOW what a day we had here... Temps were in the 65 to 66 degree range on the ground. and about 37 at 6K and 32 at 8500ft.
Conditions were amazingly light with the forcast once we got to the top of the ridge. It was from the north at about 5 so we opted for chiefs. It was a bit light upon arival but the lapse rate was working in the cycles and it was Cold out in the wind.
All I can say is Big AIR and about a 1K average climbs were reported once you got above chiefs nose.
Fun all around and the Launch ramp held up fairly well in the rain. A bit of snow was left on the road to launch but we were issued a pass anyways...
