John, Jeff, and I spent an hour clearing brush on launch this morning. Now launch is MUCH better, but could use a little more work...please take a pruners and saw with you if you go there anytime soon and spend a little time adding to our improvements before you fly.
The post-work-party flying was OK, soarable but a lot of work, no booming thermals and the convergence did its thing in a half-assed kind of way. No one went XC.
I'm flying Midway next Friday and Monday, on my way to and from visiting friends in Bakersfield. Have driver. Contact me if you're interested.
