Nuthouse Sat?

Ojai looks like the only place to be for Saturday. 23º spread with very light NE all the way up. SB is down to a 15º spread so goal will be Eastbound. Likely 10:30 meet at Nordhoff HS. I'll post a confirmed time in the AM.

Nordhoff HS at 10:30. Looks like a stellar day. Remember that the Nuthouse is a P3+ site.

I'll keep it short this time. Ended up doing a solo mission under heavy scuds and light cycles. Not much at launch at 11:45 but by 12:30 it was picking up. Easy climb to the top of the ridge and by 20 minutes in I was halfway to the Pyramid. Easy crossings with minimal wind but couldn't get much above 3400. The Pyramid was the only wild spot. Not a thing happening on the West side but the East side maxxed my vario out with a few spikes over 2500fpm. Didn't stick around for that one and split for Nordhoff ridge. Skipped along at ridgetop level to Bruce's and left for Stooges at 3500. Connected well below the top and struggled for 20 minutes before taking significant drift back to 4k. Easy connection to Twin Peaks but struggled to get over the top. Felt good getting in stupid close just because everything was so smooth. Finally got one to 4200 and tried running up the spine, the ultimate goal to topland Chief's, but no dice. Slithered back down to TP. Wasn't getting high enough for a run back to Stooges so bailed for the Windmill but deviated halfway out for a landing at Soule Park golf course, getting me closer to home. Just over 2 hours, average lift was smooth and light at 150-200 fpm. Couldn't break through 4200 though and even that was rare.
