Back in Brazil with the locals, flying in Rio. The local club set a 45k task. Upwind leg to Mount Force out to the flats and then returning to the mountains with a down wind leg towards goal. Not the longest flight but surly one of the most visual, this place is like Yosemite with a city built around it. Only 2 people made the goal, 2 Boom 6's. I came up 2k short, the lift got so light so I kept pushing dirting myself short of the beer, Oh well. I'm flying the Niviuk Peak 2-3, this glider is without question the best flying experience I've ever had. Glide and speed are incredible making it look like I know what the hell I'm doing out there. The photos are all a bit blurry, Its seem every time I go to take a photo the mode changes. A bit frustrating when flying these incredibly visual sites. I leave for Cambuquira this week, its known for great xc flying. A big whats up to all, kev dog
