had a great flock of pilots going up in brendans new truck for one of the few chief flights so far this summer. robb, ron, art, bob p and oj were along w/ fast eddie to drive. mostly typical conditions in back- improving w/time, topping out around 5200 but unable to connect to the peak... highlights for me included sharing a few very close 360s with a styling condor who smoked me as he worked the thermal back and up. major sink between stooges and bruces was interesting and made sense with the powerful lift over bruces. brendan left bruces straight for an easy hs glide. i (and i think the rest of us) took the nordhoff ridge route~~ all of us made the hs. i couldnt remember more than 7 pilots landing on the football field all together before. fun and better than expected flying.
