Eliminator Sat

Postby BobA » Sat Apr 11, 2009 6:44 pm

Nice conditions this afternoon today at Eliminator. As the north winds backed off the peak, the cycles were coming in lightly. No down drafts as clouds developed and pushed out overhead. Launched at 2:03. Found lift over Round House and Antenas to 3500'...pushed out to Lower Parma and worked good convergence lift to 4600' over Sycamore Canyon and Eucalyputus Hill...Turned down coast, dolphined with a 10 mph tail wind and made the bluffs at Bates with 750'...where it was light SE, E on the beach. Some edginess in the mtns, but not bad though, 1100 up and 1400 down. Many thanks to Marge for pictures and chase !!!
