090318 Wed Flying

I'll be at Parma around 10:30 if anyone (not too hungover from green beer) wants to meet for a ride up. My cell should be in range after 10:15: 8 three 1 five 8 eight 9 one 0 one. Willing to travel to more exotic locations too. Wade

Arrived at Skyport around 11:00. The wind was gusting from the east. I watched for several hours. The gusts died and some nice cycles started coming up. Jim M. told me that winds at SBA were still from the east at 11 mph. Later, steady winds came up to Skyport, but I couldn't tell if it was general wind or anabatic flow, lots of heat waves shimmering. Decided not to fly beucase I figured if no one else is there...there must be a reason. Maybe tomorrow.
