Weekend Flying

Saturday more then 10 of us went out to Happy Canyon and Figueroa. Figueroa was super gusty and Happy wasnt windy enough. But it was beautiful and very happy. Most of us took some hike 'n sledders and enjoyed the view, company, and beers. Thanks Glen for being tour guide, that place is sweet!

Sunday as debbie backed off, Tim, Allison and I went to the VOR. It was blowing in perfect SE and you could stay up around 4k as long as you wanted in the slightly spicy air. Fun times and amazing views...

VOR or Hann's Hill, least we forget ole Hannze who probably would say that Saturday "was pretty good". Maybe the Hill at the VOR should be considered for more launches. Hanns pioneered regular Paraglider fight in the mountains in the late 90s while being in his late 60s flying from his hill down the ridge to the T . Many times he would hike or bike back up to get his truck. LEW
