Looks like it could be good. Light SW winds. Rain arrival pushed back.

Just have to look out for the clouds, although they were high this afternoon.
The sky is calling.

Where did you get those soundings? They're showing pretty wet conditions.

The latest from NAM is much better -- although low cloudbase still might be a problem. Got Hope?

[edit: comparing soundings they are actually about the same; Bob's charts are elongated vertically]

Its really hard to say what cloudbase might be looking at the charts. The fact that there is a strong inversion at around 8k might help stop the overdevelopment. But it looks like 6k+ with SW winds at 6kts.

Damn, tomorrow is looking pretty good! In fact, it looks like it could be one of the best days that we've had in quite a while, assuming the forecast stays on track.

Wouldn't you know it, I've got V-day plans already. Why - why - why...(yes, that was me banging my head against the wall AGAIN!) Who started this V-day thing anyway, and why does it have to be celebrated on a designated day - damn democrats :D I vote that V-day can be celebrated on any day within February that's agreed on by both parties, as long as it doesn't interfere with good lapse-rate days

So Dean...
Since you're not going to be flying tomorrow,
And we're all going to be landing near your house,
And you're just going to be sitting around moping anyway,
Can we call you from Piru/Fillmoore and get a lift back to SB??

Thanks,
your friends

Looks like I'm the first one home to post...

Great flying, wish I'd have been on my T2 so I could've chased some people down to play with.

As it was, I did two tandems; soaring as long as we wanted and getting to cloudbase on both.

I think I'm going to fly in the LA area tomorrow if anyone is up for it. My Austrian friend Wolfi has to head home on Wednesday so we're going to woop it up tonight and rage in the sky tomorrow.

look forward to flying with you all soon,
Zippy
