10 AM @ Parma for skyport. Looks like Ojai and SB are doable but the NE and 4k altitudes make SB a better choice. Initial task is Skyport-VOR-Training Hill but if Eastbound looks doable we'll have cars at Padaro.

Yet again I seem to have made the wrong call when deciding between Skyport and the Nuthouse. Weak cycles on launch but they improved to moderate at noon. Nobody was really getting up over launch by much except for Bo who launched from Alternator and came over from the R&R with more altitude than we were ever able to climb to. Antenna farm was a bit spanky again and I headed out to play with Bo who was on his way to Parma in much friendlier air. Andy was able to sneak into the beach but he seems to be able to find those great-glide seams. Extended sledders for most of us. The one interesting event of note was the NE with at Parma which made landing unique. In 8 years I don't think I've ever landed there, going that direction. Despite the unique conditions everyone was able to adjust accordingly with no overshoots into the canyon.
On the up-side we got to see another sunny warm day in SB!

Of note, there was little or no wind in SB or Ojai today despite gusts to 46 in Camarillo, which is pretty common with these Santa Ana events. Ojai and SB are well sheltered so when the weather forecasters call for wind advisories in the Ventura Mountains, it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be windy in SB/Ojai.
