handicap flying

Some friends made this movie about a handicapped pilot flying a Cage:

I find the Cage an intriguing aircraft and it is always awesome to see handicapped people in outdoors activities.

If the translation sounds weird, please, blame me, not them, because I did it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU, WITH AWESOME FLIGHTS OF COURSE.

Very cool Irene thanks for posting. Always great to see someone with a handicap continuing to explore the boundaries of life. What is the advantage of the cage? Music was cool. I flew near the Massif Central region this summer and it was a blast. Nice to see the French architecture,....it has so much character, so much charm and individuality.

The Cage presents the advantage of not changing the profile of the paraglider for turning. It is more like a hand glider in that sense. It creates less induced turbulence and is more efficient. Also, on the ground, when the pilot needs to re-center the glider , (s)he does not need to move sideway, which is a major advantage for handicapped people. Overall, from what I read, it is a great glider for soaring really smooth. Not so good for turbulent conditions and XC.

Your description of french architecture got mixed up with the description of french women ! :-)
