Wind just dropped at the peak!!!!

O.K. Here is the follow up. Saw Chad on the way up and he said there was still some NE coming over the back. Checked it out and it seemed to be lightening up. Was blowing nicely up the front around 4 to 5 mph. Launched around 3:00 3:30 ish. Had a terrible glide to the edge of the Thermal factory, well its always bad but this was worse than normal and was wondering if I was going to clear the wires. I did and hit some lift but could feel that moving slightly unsettled feeling of lift in wind so moved to the antanae farm. There I climbed and climbed to 3900 feet and cruised to the Thermal Factory and climbed up in a sweet afternoon thermal to 4400 feet. J.R. joined me and we climbed up togethor in picturesque conditions but that slight bumpyness never left. Awhile later after checking out the R.R. we caught a sweet, huge thermal in front of the house. I couldnt beleive how wide it was. JR asked where I wanted to be when the N came in and I agreed and so flew out to land. We finally landed in a slightly se wind, 3 or so mph at Parma. I love afternoon flights with the shadows on the mountains. Hopefully tomorrow will be sweet as well.
