France Flying

Postby Tony de Groot » Tue Aug 14, 2007 1:58 am

Hello everyone. Anne-Odile and I have been doing some camping in the Massif Central of France. And wouldnt you know it there is a flying site nearby and we just happen to have brought our harnesses.

Nice flying when it hasnt been raining which is far too often. Nice crew around here and Anos sister got her fist mountain flights yesterday after a week of training hill work. Some different training methods but it all works pretty well. I flew the Mambo from French manufacturer Tecma, kind of like a Pulse and got up to cloudbase at 6300 feet and was joined by the local bird called a Buse which is a buzzard but looks like a small eagle.

Hope everyone is doing well. Well be home on the 21st.
